Chad joined Emersion Design as an urban designer & architect with a special emphasis on sustainable & urban issues. He earned his BArch from the University of Cincinnati where he serves as a design critic. Chad has over 15 years of professional experience & has been a guest speaker for the AIA Committee on the Environment, the Smart Growth Coalition & the Kentucky Chapter of the American Planning Association. He has presented to Chambers of Commerce & various planning commissions on community revitalization. His work has garnished design awards from the AIA and the SEGD. He has extensive architectural & planning experience with university, civic, corporate & government facilities.

Chad is a Board Member of the Regional Chapter of the USGBC and the LAND-HC Committee on Green Building. As an associate with a prior firm, he was the key sustainable professional responsible for LEED Certification of the University of Cincinnati’s Student Recreation Center.
