Jacob Peters is an architecture student at the University of Cincinnati where he has been studying for the last three years. He has been an intern with the National Chair of LEED for Neighborhood Development Doug Farr in the Chicago office Farr Associates, the New York office of Kohn Pedersen Fox and Congress for the New Urbanism - the leading organization promoting neighborhood - based, walkable development as an alternative to sprawl.

These experiences have shaped his beliefs, interests, and actions in regards to the built environment. Jacob grew up in Chicago where his parents are both preservationists and planners.
