Simon has over 25 years experience as a project engineer & as an engineering team leader on large complex projects throughout the United States, Japan & Europe Prior to co-founding Emersion Design he was the Director of Structural Engineering Services for a 100 person architectural / engineering firm with offices in Ohio & Florida. Simon is a graduate of Harvard University with B.A. in Engineering and Applied Sciences & the University of Cincinnati with M.S. in Structural Engineering. He has designed & provided analysis of structural systems for office buildings, industrial facilities, university buildings, commercial centers, laboratories, computer centers, research facilities, & engineering centers.

Simon’s unique experience includes routine & complex building structural systems, structural engineering forensics analysis, structural systems studies & analysis, roller coaster design, special equipment & systems foundations & the peer review of major entertainment attractions.
