emersion DESIGN partnered with the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library to renovate the historic 1910 Hyde Park Branch Library into a modern, accessible community space. Updates included improved ADA access through regraded entrances, new restrooms, a modern elevator, and new vestibules. Five original windows infilled during the 1970 renovation were reopened to restore natural light. The project also preserved a beloved Michael Scott mural, updated all interior finishes, and added a custom aquarium in the children’s section honoring the former lower‑level fish pond.
