Following a comprehensive Master Plan, Visioning process, and Educational Specifications, emersion DESIGN developed a solution for Little Miami School District that transformed the existing middle school into a series of flexible learning communities anchored by a new innovation center. Designed to support deeper learning and student success, the addition provides adaptable spaces that accommodate a variety of learning styles, from collaborative group work to independent study. A generous learning stair and presentation wall encourage communication, creativity, and confidence while preparing students for future academic challenges. The design thoughtfully blends old and new by incorporating brick elements from the original building, creating a vibrant learning environment that honors the district’s history and culture. The result is a flexible, future-ready facility that helps students discover their passions while advancing academic excellence and personal growth.
